Khris Remington-Golonka and her husband, Taylor Golonka, embarked on a unique journey in 2013 when they founded Royal Nomad Jewelry. With backgrounds in creative fashion and entertainment, they shared a dream of creating a brand and exploring the world. Little did they know, this dream would evolve into a family business, with their daughters, Carly Remington and Simone Remington, now playing integral roles in the company.
Royal Nomad Jewelry is a testament to our love for diversity. It blends classic, bohemian, elegant, urban, whimsical, and bold styles, creating a unique aesthetic. Our pieces are crafted from a wide range of materials, including enamel, 14k gold, silver, plated gold, diamonds, sapphires, lab-created stones, and semi-precious elements. We believe in breaking the rules of traditional jewelry design, asking, 'Who said these two materials can't be mixed?' If it's beautiful and fun, it's a part of our collection. Our goal is to make you feel beautiful and happy when you wear our designs.
Khris worked in many sectors of the fashion world over the last 30 years. She started in trims, selling other jewelry lines as a rep, personal shopping, and styling many clients for years. She has owned a store, assisted celebrity clientele, and created two other jewelry brands before the creation of Royal Nomad. Khris is best known for her mix of color and how to create a look that looks effortless and unplanned. Fashion should be fun and expressive. When taken too seriously, it is no longer working. Have fun with it, and you will feel good and look good!
Carly and Simone Remington grew up watching their mom, Khris, in fashion. Vintage shopping and estate sales were all too familiar to them from a young age. My daughters joining us was a no-brainer; they are my best friends. I sought their advice when designing, and they started adding great ideas, and a light bulb went off. Carly and Simone joined the company, and this has made our company tick. Carly is the jack of all trades; she began as our operations manager and quickly grew to do many things, including styling, designing, and running our social media. Carly has always been a talented artist and knows what is visually pleasing to our customers. Simone has always been interested in fashion. She has a talent for styling; it comes naturally to her. She is in charge of our marketing/brand image and wholesale sales department. We all work together as a family. We all add our talents and learn new ones to keep the ship running. We love our customers; we want them to feel beautiful and love their experience with us and our jewelry.
